What You'll Do:
- Plan, direct, perform, facilitate, and monitor the entire program provision, ensuring the overall success of all resident programs in the Reflections Neighborhood
- Facilitate meaningful programs for residents with dementia by taking individual needs into account and assuring customer satisfaction to the highest degree possible
- Serve as an informed expert by staying up-to-date and knowledgeable about all the products and procedures of the community
- Be involved and interact with people (residents, families, visitors, staff, home care agency, potential referral sources, community services, other health providers, community groups, etc.)
- Use computer programs in Microsoft Office for public communications, calendar creation, and newsletter development, or be willing to learn and implement
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be a Certified Dementia Practitioner
- At least 1 year in a programming-related position, preferably memory care, or experience as a home health aide
- Alzheimer’s and dementia training
- Have the physical, mental, and emotional health and energy to perform the requirements of the job
